The Nikon 12.3 MP camera features a DX-format, CMOS image sensor along with technology that was directly inherited from the D300. This DSLR camera features a 12.3 MP image quality with a high signal-to-noise ratio that allows this camera to deliver low noise images with great detail. With its D-Movie mode, the Nikon D90 can capture 720p video that can be shot in three different resolutions of 320x216 pixels, 640x424 pixels, or 1280x720 pixels. This Nikon 12.3 MP camera features Nikon’s Integrated Dust Reduction system, which works to remove image-degrading particles from the sensor’s optical filter. The camera can perform continuous shooting at 4.5 fps. This camera has low noise ISO sensitivity from 200 to 3,200. The Nikon 12.3 MP camera is equipped with a 3-inch, super density 920,000 dot color LCD monitor that is useful for reviewing images or capturing live shots. Photos and video are saved to a SD or SDHC card. The lens in this camera kit features 3x zoom, vibration reduction, and an aperture of f/3.5 to f/5.6. The weight of the body alone is about 21.9 oz.
