The Niger Delta Development Commission is a federal government agency established with the sole mandate of developing the oil-rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

One of the core mandates of the Commission is to train and educate the youths of the oil rich Niger Delta regions to curb hostilities and militancy, while developing key infrastructure to promote diversification and productivity.

The private sponsor of this scholarship believes in the power and importance of community service; therefore, all scholarship participants are required to volunteer for a minimum of 300 hours a year.

Any Institution of your choice in any of the former Soviet Union (USSR) countries or in any another developing countries with cheaper tuitions and living conditions.

Undergraduate degree or bachelor’s degree in any field of study that will best help their local communities, for example:
1. Medicine
2. Nursing Sciences
3. Tourism
4. Law
5. Education
6. Social Work
7. Business and so on.

About 1500-3000 scholarships per year.

Scholarship covers the full cost of studying at the university $20,000 annually. This is including:
1. Tuition Fees
2. Maintenance Allowance
3. Annual Travel Costs
4. Visa, etc.

Scholarship candidate is a student, male or female who has successfully completed a secondary education, with good to excellent grades
